Former The Voice coach Blake Shelton had some exciting news to share earlier this week, as he announced that he’ll be performing a residency in Las Vegas. Shelton will be taking the stage at Caesars Palace starting in February.

Blake Shelton Announces Las Vegas Residency Next Year

On Thursday, Shelton took to social media to announce that he’ll be performing a run of shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in February 2025. Shelton’s wife, Gwen Stefani, previously had a Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood.

Shelton shared that tickets for the February shows will go on sale Friday, August 16. However, fans can sign up for presale access on Shelton’s website. The country star is currently scheduled to perform on February 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, and 15.

“It’s been swirling for years now, and ever since the idea was first floated about opening an Ole Red in Las Vegas, this conversation has been happening too,” Shelton told People, referring to his new bar location in Vegas.

Shelton also teased that while he’s in Las Vegas for his residency, he “may end up over at Ole Red jumping on that stage one night.” He said he’s inspired by fellow country singer Garth Brooks’ Vegas residency as he plans the shows.

Shelton Left The Voice Last Year

Shelton has a lot more free time to do things like perform in Las Vegas since he left The Voice. After a whopping 23 seasons as a coach, Shelton departed the show last year. In an interview earlier this year, Shelton said he doesn’t “miss the job at all.”

“I totally needed a break from that, because if I wasn’t into it then it wasn’t good for whoever was on my team,” Shelton shared. “I don’t want to be someone who’s just going through the motions. Those artists need somebody fighting for them.”

Shelton teased that he might be interested in returning if the show brings back the original coaching lineup — including Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, and Christina Aguilera. As it turns out, Levine is returning for Season 27 next year, after leaving the show in 2019.
